it’s called “no knead bread” but i am also calling it “no need bread” because there was no need for me to bake it. *snort* yes i AM a dork, thanks for noticing. but since i’m an overachiever, i wanted to attempt two brand new recipes today, sort of “throw it against the wall and see what sticks.” luckily for me, it has been total kitchen success today so this bread turned out well. i used the recipe from this site (which is one of my new favorites, by the way, please go visit her and her beautiful pictures) but i scaled it back. the recipe can be found at that link, but these are the amounts i used to make two medium sized loaves:
1 1/2 cups warm water
3/4 Tablespoon of yeast
3/4 Tablespoon salt
3 1/4 cups flour
these exact amounts turned out two lovely, utterly delicious loaves of round bread. Please visit the link above for the original amounts and the directions.
